Welcome to NextGCom 2026!
Next Generation Communications (NextGCom) conference aims to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry working in all areas of next generation communications. The technical program will be split into the following six conference regular Tracks:

Track 2: Medium Access Control and Networking
Track 3: Internet of Things and Sensor Networks
Track 4: Artificial Intelligence for Communications and Networking
Track 5: Communication and Information Security

Paper acceptance notification: 3 August 2026
Camera-ready papers and registration: 24 August 2026
2nd call
Paper submission deadline: 24 August 2026 (deadline extended, firm)
Paper acceptance notification: 31 August 2026
Camera-ready papers and registration: 7 September 2026
Highlights:
Two-stage deadline submission model
Starting from this year, NextGCom conference will apply a two-stage deadline submission model to provide more flexibility for authors. Decisions will be either ACCEPT or REJECT. However, authors of papers rejected in the 1st Call may submit a revised paper in the 2nd Call by first addressing all the comments provided by the reviewers during the 1st Call.
NextGCom 2026 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communication Society! Accepted and presented papers will be published into IEEEXplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
