NextGCom 2026 offers a great opportunity for publishing original research outputs by ongoing or recently concluded (European or International) research projects. We invite proposals for Workshops/Special Sessions that will consider paper submissions on any topic, but not limited to, addressed in any of the topics of the NextGCom 2026 conference.

The main purpose of the NextGCom Workshop/Special Sessions is to provide fora for research, development, integration, standards, service provisioning, and user communities addressing timely topics relevant to the main conference. Special Sessions can take different styles, for example, targeting students, specializing on a scientific topic area, or fostering interaction between academia and industry.

Each Special Session will comprise minimum 3-4 peer-reviewed papers and an invited talk.

Accepted and presented papers will be published into IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
